Faktor 3
As we work with solar cells to power our solutions, we have to make sure that we obtain as much power as possible from the solar panels used, while ensuring that the device that is being powered uses as little energy as possible. This is why we place high demands on the energy efficiency of the products we design.
Barbara Bentzen founded Faktor 3 ApS in 2006. She is an industrial designer MDD and trained at the Danish Design School. She has worked at the Technological Institute of the PEC Group (photovoltaics). Today, she is the managing director of the Faktor 3 team and the concept developer of projects using solar cells, LEDs or other sustainable products.
René Kirstein Harboe is partner in Faktor 3 ApS, and responsible for all technology development. He has a long experience with medico business, where he has worked with quality, production and system development. Furthermore he has had his own company working with development of hardware and software for sustainable technologies, eg. thermal heating.

Kristian Bartholin Holm has a Cand. Arch. from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Art and has started at Faktor 3 to focus on our major architectural projects. He is responsible for the all-important finish and makes all technical drawings. He has also become quite an expert in photovoltaics in the meantime.
Thomas Rosefalk is studying multimdedia design on his last year and is an intern at Faktor 3 ApS, his focus areas are web development, communication and anything media related.
Rikke Køhler is an intern at Faktor 3 ApS from University of Southern Denmark, where she studies Engineering in Integrated Design. Her main focus is creating innovation and product development. She knows how to take a product from the idea phase to production and further into the market.
