Design
Given the amount of attention we invest in appearance, one could accuse us of being superficial. We spend plenty of time drawing, thinking and designing. And we are happy to invest this time, as it means that the surface is as it should be - and that we can stand by what we're doing.
Design is all about product development - in other words we don't only design what a product should look like but also develop its functionality. Simply put, Faktor 3 designs anything that needs power to work - from solar bags to charge your mobile to sustainable street lamps.
Our work spans a broad spectrum. We both design individual products and integrate solar photovoltaic technology in large building modules or buildings.
Although our focus on designing with solar cells is rather unique, we approach the process from idea to product in a traditional way.
