Technology
The term 'technology' is very broad, but at the end of the day it's all about getting the most out of the sun's energy. We have a broad knowledge of different PV technologies and their characteristics which is important given, that placement, surroundings and consumer needs all influence the choice of the right PV.
We participate in large-scale R&D projects in order to broaden our knowledge about solar cells. The projects involve other companies, research and educational institutions, and are supported by ELFORSK and ForskEL (Danish Energy and Energinet.dk). These interdisciplinary projects are highly interesting and have high ambitions for the future. We are currently participating in an R&D project with the Danish Technological Institute and DTU Fotonik, with the objective of exploring the potential for more solar cells in the cityscape. We strive to optimise our products in terms of reducing both energy consumption and electrical loss. By taking the specific product as a starting point, we deal with the entire circuit including solar cells, voltage inverters, the electrical control of energy storage units, the choice of energy storage and the end-use appliance. All components must be as energy-efficient as possible, which is why we keep close contacts with the battery and LED industry. In addition, we work with highly competent freelance electrical engineers on a per-project basis.
